Pressroom in Bentonville Arkansas
One of the reasons I decided to start my photography business here in Northwest Arkansas is the incredible variety of experiences. Photography has taken me to protests, restaurants, race tracks, mountainsides, and everywhere in between. My latest adventure has been a tasty one.
The startup company Porter and Sail contracted me to shoot about a dozen local restaurants and landmarks for the 21C Hotel in Bentonville. Their app is a travel guide and concierge service for guests at high end hotels. I immediately took the opportunity.
They only had two rules. Make the locations look fun to visit, and shoot the photos vertically. Before I knew it, I was one of Bentonville few professional food photographers. The best part about food photography is that you get to eat the food.
